Instructions for the remittance of EURO payments to Dresdner/Commerzbank
Only for delegates from European Union or SEPA Countries:

Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Great Britain, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovak Republic, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland

Please transfer only EURO to our European account. Do not transfer Canadian Dollars as this results in high exchange fees! Divide your registration fee by 1.331 and you know the amount in EURO (the exchange rate is updated every minute and is based on the European Central Bank rates).

For your convenience you can also type in the Canadian Dollar amount and we will calculate the EURO for you:

Candian Dollars are EURO.

When you are living in a non-EU country or a country that does not participate in the SEPA system, fees resulting from this wire must be processed using the ‘OUR’ SWIFT standard in SWIFT field 71A: ‘OUR’ Remitter pays all fees.

When living in a EU member country, according to European law, EU money transfers (in EURO) must not cost more than national money transfers if you use IMWA’s IBAN and BIC numbers (they must also be printed on your bank’s money transfer statements). The banks are not allowed to charge extra costs. If they do so, please contact your National Complaint Body. In 2008, the SEPA system came into force. This system harmonizes EU and international money transfers but the law itself has been in force since 2004. Please keep in mind: EU money transfers are not the same as international money transfers! This law applies to all EU member countries and countries accepting the EURO except: Andorra, Monaco, Switzerland, San Marino, and the Holy See (but they participate in the SEPA system).

Please help yourself and IMWA to save money by complaining if your bank does not accept EU or SEPA money transfers.
