Our 3 days Post-Conference Excursion starts in Sydney on the morning of Friday, 2010-09-10, and will terminate Sunday, 2010-09-12, noon at Halifax Airport. Friday you will visit historic Fort Louisbourg, where the British fought twice against the French – and won. A guided tour and a public humiliation of the person having given the worst presentation at the IMWA 2010 Symposium as well as a 18th century lunch will be the highlights of this day which will finish in Ingonish. We will stay overnight in the Keltic Lodge and have Dinner in a restaurant nearby. Saturday morning we will travel the world famous Cabot Trail, have lunch at an Acadian restaurant in Cheticamp, a French speaking community on the north-western coast of Cape Breton Island. Overnight we will stay in a nice Hotel in Antigonish and will have dinner in a traditional Nova Scotian Restaurant. Sunday morning we will tour an acid rock drainage treatment facility at Halifax Airport and those of you who have time will eat in the well known Inn-on-the-Lake.
