Our 2 days Pre-Conference Excursion starts noon on Saturday, 2010-09-04, at Halifax Airport. From there, we will travel by bus to Springhill and visit the famous mine water geothermal installation. You will also be provided with a snack to eat. Later the afternoon we will travel to Pictou and we will have dinner and stay overnight at Pictou Lodge. Sunday morning we will drive the picturesque Ceilidh Trail to Mabou, have lunch at the Red Shoe Pub, and will get a guided tour through North America’s only Single Malt Distillery: Glenora. After the distillery tour we will travel to Sydney where we will arrive early afternoon – just in time for the Ice Breaker Party.
